SKI.
There is immediate access to the skiing area in Luchon which has three different sectors, skiing is available for all abilities, with plenty of 'off piste' opportunities for the advanced skier.
The large, open, sunny slopes rise to 2400m and the majority of runs are covered by snow cannon.
As well as Luchon's large ski area, within a 15 minute drive is Peyragudes which also offers fantastic skiing for everyone!
For those with transport, you can also ski in Spain (Bagueira-Beret is a large Spanish resort 30 to 40 minutes away) and numerous other resorts within the French Pyrenees, all within one hour's drive. For most people, the two local areas will be more than adequate for one week's stay.
